Installing & getting started
Takes under a minute. Once installed, sign in with your existing Kyndle email and password — your data is exactly where you left it on the web.
On a Mac
- 1Click “Download for Mac” and open the downloaded .dmg file.
- 2Drag the Kyndle icon onto the Applications folder, then eject the disk.
- 3Open Kyndle from Applications. The first time, macOS may warn it's from an unidentified developer — right-click the app and choose Open, then Open again.
- 4Sign in with your Kyndle account. You're in — same workspace as the web.
On Windows
- 1Click “Download for Windows” and run the downloaded installer (.exe).
- 2If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose “More info” → “Run anyway”.
- 3Follow the installer; Kyndle is added to your Start menu and desktop.
- 4Launch Kyndle and sign in with your Kyndle account to pick up right where you left off.
The desktop app needs an internet connection — it's your live workspace, not a separate copy. Any change you make here shows on the web instantly, and vice versa.
